CAMPS North Launch - March 11, 2010

The Center for Advanced Manufacturing Puget Sound is pleased to announce the launch of it's North location. With South Sound membership nearing 100, it is apparent the time has come to open a North location to accommodate the Washington business in that area. The CAMPS North membership will have the same opportunity CAMPS south did when it was launched in 2008. They will be asked, what is your biggest concern? Let's address it if we haven't already! CAMPS is continuing to grow it's membership base strategically to provide "best in class" member companies to be your resource for business development.

CAMPS has developed affiliate partnerships with the following organizations, businesses and educational institutions, all working together to make this CAMPS North possible: Edmonds Community College, Edmonds Business Training Center, National Resource Center for Materials Technology Education, Washington Aerospace Training & Research Center, and our Business Sponsor ~ Key Bank.

Who becomes a member of CAMPS?

There will be many new members and partners at the CAMPS North launch who will benefit from this overview. The Roundtable topics, as with CAMPS South Sound, will be determined by the membership, as well as CAMPS staff and the Board of Directors. Topics are selected to educate, stimulate and encourage collaboration throughout the CAMPS members.
Examples of some 2010 Roundtable Topics, CAMPS South Sound (Kent):
 -  Protecting and Understanding Intellectual Properties
 -  Just what is this thing called Advance Material, aka "Composites"
