Membership Information and Classification View the 2010 CAMPS Board of Directors
Value Proposition The value of being a member of CAMPS is the power associated with being part of a network of manufacturers, supply chain partners, pre-qualified business advisors, and strategic partners. CAMPS provides the connections to establish business relationships among its members, sharing in a culture of innovation, and assistance identifying supply chain requirements and opportunities in emerging industries, technologies, products, processes and finding pre-qualified partners to implement sustainable solutions . CAMPS was officially launched in January 2008 as 40 companies and organizations took the blind leap as early adopters to help shape the future of CAMPS by defining the programs and direction. The Board of Directors approved the following rates and guidelines. Classes of Membership: Membership Fees are effective January 1, 2010 Founding Members: The City of Manufacturing Member (voting member) Definition: A manufacturing entity is any company defined by North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) within the numerical ranges from 31 through 33 as outlined by the 2007 NAICS Tables. · Any eligible manufacturing business entity · Membership shall become effective upon payment of dues · Members will be eligible for regularly prices services, as determined by the service offerings from time to time
Annual Membership fees: Supply Chain Member (voting member) Definition: A Supply Chain member is a company who engages with manufacturers within their supply chain to provide components, services, or finished products. · Any eligible company who engages with manufacturers within their supply chain to provide materials, components, services, or finished products can apply · Membership shall become effective upon payment of dues · Members will be eligible for regularly prices services, as determined by the service offerings from time to time Annual Membership Fees: $1,200 – Up to 49 employees $1,700 – 50 to 199 employees
Associate Member (non-voting member) Definition - Associate Membership would be available for non-manufacturers (suppliers, consultants, and service providers), to provide access to the manufacturing members for use of their goods and services. Brokerage fees will apply to all engagements with CAMPS members. Associate Memberships will be limited to a ratio of two manufacturers or supply chain members; to one Associate Member. Associate Members must submit full credentials and capabilities to CAMPS to substantiate their membership as being advantageous to manufacturer or supply chain members. Associate members must be pre-qualified by CAMPS criteria, prior to acceptance of membership. Non-Profit and Not for Profit entities who join for the purpose of securing business opportunities fit into the Associate Member classification.
Annual Membership Fees: $1,200 – 6 to 49 employees
Definition: An Affiliate Member is a cooperating public entity that has a strategic relationship with CAMPS. The Board of Directors of CAMPS will establish the criteria for Affiliate Membership status and may change from time to time. Affiliate Membership due structure will be determined by Board of Director Policy relating to strategic and cooperating relationships. Examples are: training/educational establishments, government funding, and sponsoring organizations.
