  • Executive Round Table (Peer to Peer) Forum* – CAMPS will coordinate monthly roundtable forums for small groups of executives to meet, receive updates on requested subjects, network, and collaborate on common points of interest. See our 2008 Schedule.   • Supply Chain Development and Boot Camp* – CAMPS will provide introductory supply chain training on how companies can position themselves into the supply chains of OEM and large non-manufacturing customers, or to develop their own supply chain capabilities.
     
  • Innovation Data Base – Data base development in two initial areas. Alternative Energy Industries, with a special focus on solar power, wind power and infrastructure sectors. A second initiative includes current, credible, and concice data of business improvement and certificaiton topics. 
  • E-Commerce Advancements – CAMPS website listing and portal exchange between company websites and CAMPS website, using Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques, to enable companies to increase awareness of their capabilities, certifications, and specialties.
     
  • Workforce Development – CAMPS has received funding to develop an on-site, Structured On-The-Job Training (SOJT) program. The promary goal of the SOJT Program is to provide task specific training programs in the skilled industrial trades, through partnerships with existing training resources. Including access to the latest programs providing funding incentives, and tax credits. 
     
  • Brokered services* – Access to the region’s top-notch pre-qualified providers to assist companies to have highly efficient business foundations, practices, and processes.  Fees will apply based on the specific engagement.

Phase II - CAMPS is currently investigating programs to assist manufacturers in the following areas:
  • Assistance in new product development, to shorten the product development cycle, reduce cost, and to fast- track new product development and go-to-market strategies
  • Hosted Innovation Events - introduce member companies to innovative products, processes, and to OEM customers seeking strategic partners.  These events will be product and market niche specific
  • Assistance in recognizing and establishing intellectual property rights, research and development tax credits, and other incentives
  • Intelligence gathering assistance for members who require confidential product development and market research
  • Supply Chain requirements by industry or sector
  • Supply Chain linkages to OEM suppliers
  • Process assistance for members to develop their own supply chain
  • Decision support whether to vertically integrate or outsource
  • Steps to develop specific supply chain partnerships
  • Voice of manufacturers in workforce development initiatives
  • Assistance in finding and securing customized training and funds where available Information clearing house of funding opportunities and tax incentives for training programs
