Who becomes a member of CAMPS?
Companies that become members of CAMPS are already successful companies. These company owners and leaders embrace the core principles of CAMPS:
- Innovation provides opportunities — emerging industries, new processes, new products, and new technologies
- Understanding the need to develop supply chain capabilities to compete effectively
- Realize the benefits of collaborating with other manufacturers, supply chain partners, service providers, and other strategic partners
- Understand the importance of a well trained and involved workforce.
- Willing to collaborate and work with others who share the CAMPS mission
Value Proposition
The value of being a member of CAMPS is the power associated with being part of a network of manufacturers, supply chain partners, pre-qualified business advisors, and strategic partners. CAMPS provides the connections to establish business relationships among its members, sharing in a culture of innovation, and assistance identifying supply chain requirements and opportunities in emerging industries, technologies, products, processes and finding pre-qualified partners to implement sustainable solutions.
CAMPS was officially launched in January 2008 as 40 companies and organizations took the blind leap as early adopters to help shape the future of CAMPS by defining the programs and direction.
In 2009, CAMPS grew to approximately 100 companies and organizations. These members helped to refine the power associated with collaboration, shared knowledge, and innovative stimulation.
CAMPS will continue to grow and will clarify the innovation focus, supply chain development, and relationship building with other organizations to find solutions for skilled workforce challenges.
