Members Meeting - CAMPS members continue to have challenges associated with securing workable banking and finding capital to run their businesses. They are finding asset based lenders, using lease programs, and other non-traditional methods. CAMPS will present a Panel Discussion on what is working in these alternative methods and how to go about finding them.
A Conversation About Asia with Ex-IM Bank Director Patricia M. Loui

Patricia M. Loui will lead efforts to promote U.S. exports to Asia, where she has over 30 years of expertise. Director Loui served as a development planner and training officer for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Based in Bangkok, she covered a UNDP region spanning from Papua New Guinea to Afghanistan, China to Australia. She was also a planning consultant with the United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Southeast Asia. Throughout her Pacific Rim-focused career, Loui has lived and worked in China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Nepal, the Pacific Islands, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. 30 for Members, $35 for Non-Members, $27 for Students Evening Reception Register through the World Trade Club

CAMPS is planning a Membership Value Survey during 1Q 2012 to help understand the needs and wants of members and what the priorities are to keep CAMPS programs and initiative mainstream to member wants and expectation. This will be a presentation and interactive session.

The 2012 Washington State First Robotics Competition will be finished and CAMPS will be well into the M2M Career Pathways Training sessions working with the Veteran and National Guardsman Soldiers. CAMPS will present an update to each program and invite First Robotics Teams to attend and veterans who have complete the M2M training and have secure jobs to share their experiences.
