Invitation for CAMPS Members | Limited 90-Day Pilot

Turn AI Interest Into a Practical Leadership Roadmap

Limited to 10 Companies Only

To ensure high-quality guidance and feedback, we are limiting this pilot program to exactly ten manufacturing companies. Seats are allocated by request selectivity.

CAMPS is inviting a small group of manufacturing companies to participate in a guided 90-day pilot of the CAMPS AI Leadership Roadmap.

Participants will learn how to identify where company value is being lost, use AI to create better operational visibility, and build a disciplined path from insight to action—without beginning with a major technology investment.

There is no fee to participate.

Core Initiative Purpose

AI Should Be a Company-Value Initiative—not Just a Technology Project

Too many AI efforts begin with software, demonstrations, or isolated experiments. They may generate excitement, but they often fail to produce measurable operational or financial improvement.

"Where is your company currently losing time, capacity, margin, quality, or customer confidence—and how might AI help you see it, improve it, and measure the result?"

The AI Leadership Roadmap helps manufacturing leaders connect AI adoption to four operating levers:

Production Flow

Increase throughput, optimize shop floor dispatching, and systematically reduce bottlenecks and unplanned downtime.

Labor Productivity

Reduce heavy administrative burdens, assist estimators, and preserve critical floor tribal knowledge before it retires.

Quality Control

Minimize industrial scrap, rework loops, defects, customer returns, and preventable quality conformance failures.

Operational Decisions

Consolidate scattered databases and ERP exports into fast, unified, fact-based dashboards for daily leadership standups.

The goal is not to use more AI.

The goal is to build a more valuable, resilient, and scalable manufacturing company by connecting technology directly to operational performance.

Financial Blueprint

How Operational Improvement Creates Company Value

AI can contribute directly to overall manufacturing enterprise value in two key areas:

  • Improve operating performance: Focus on increasing throughput, reducing scrap waste, improving labor effectiveness, and protecting margins against supply chain shocks.
  • Strengthen the business itself: Focus on creating reliable systems, trusted data structures, repeatable digital processes, and decreasing dependency on floor tribal knowledge.

Disclaimer: The Roadmap does not promise a specific financial return. It helps leaders identify, prioritize, and measure opportunities that may improve operational and company value.

AI drives value by growing margins to a higher tier, which dynamically shifts multiple ranges and compounds enterprise value scaling.

Connect AI opportunities directly to EBITDA, throughput, margin, risk mitigation, and long-term company enterprise value. Ensure you are targeting high-impact problems rather than executing technology projects for their own sake.

Program Phases & Timeline

How the 90-Day Pilot Experience Works

Before the Pilot Begins

  • Complete a short, diagnostic AI leadership and digital readiness assessment.
  • Identify exactly one meaningful company challenge or operational opportunity to target.
  • Select one executive sponsor (strategic direction) and one operational champion (on-floor contact).

During the 90 Days

  • Work through the structured Leadership Roadmap in short, practical stages.
  • Choose learning materials from video, infographic, podcast, or written formats.
  • Complete practical, AI-assisted assignments using your own business numbers and context.
  • Join a brief, facilitate 30-minute weekly Zoom check-in with CAMPS.
  • Learn and borrow from the questions, roadblocks, and experiences of peer manufacturers.

At the Program End

  • Complete the follow-up digital and leadership readiness assessment.
  • Directly compare your before-and-after organizational readiness scores.
  • Identify what changed, what remains unclear, and what should happen next.
  • Leave with a prioritized opportunity and a clear blueprint path for implementation, training, or outside support.

90-Day Timeline Breakdown

A structured, three-stage progression that ensures you build the business logic before writing code.

Days 1–30

Value and Readiness

Align leadership, understand change management, and calculate potential EBITDA impact to prioritize your target problem.

Days 31–60

Data and Visibility

Consolidate your existing spreadsheets, clean up messy database records, and construct dashboards for unified visibility.

Days 61–90

Action and Next-Steps

Assign data owners, design closed-loop action workflows, and draft a long-term implementation and training plan.

Scope Boundaries

Leadership Guidance, Not Technical Implementation

The CAMPS AI Leadership Roadmap is a business perspective and decision-support program. It helps manufacturing leaders understand where AI may create value, what questions to ask, how to assess readiness, and what to do next.

What the Program Is

  • A decision-support system to validate business ROI.
  • Leadership guidance on organizational change and training.
  • Practical frameworks to clean data and structure pipelines.
  • Strategic assessment of risk, security, and employee trust.
  • Decision criteria to decide if you need custom coding or off-the-shelf SaaS.

What the Program Is NOT

  • A developer software certification or coding bootcamp.
  • Technical training for Copilot plugins or custom AI agent assembly.
  • An implementation consulting engagement where CAMPS writes custom software.
  • A guarantee or promise that CAMPS will write, host, or build your AI tool.
  • A replacement for colleges, technical schools, developers, or IT partners.

When participants are ready for technical execution, CAMPS can help them understand what type of qualified partner, developer, or training resource they may need.

Participant Fit

Is This Pilot Right for Your Company?

This is a GOOD fit if your company:

  • Wants a practical, low-risk business starting point for AI.
  • Has a real operational, quality, or management bottleneck worth examining.
  • Wants to improve throughput, productivity, quality, or decision speed.
  • Has existing digital data—even if it is currently messy, scattered, or disorganized.
  • Can assign a consistent, focused leader to participate for the full 90 days.
  • Is willing to provide raw, candid feedback to help us refine the Roadmap.

This is PROBABLY NOT a fit if your company:

  • Wants an outside consultant to build a technical AI solution for them.
  • Cannot attend the weekly 30-minute group Zoom standups.
  • Is only looking for general AI demonstrations and slide shows.
  • Is unwilling to complete small, practical, company-specific assignments.
  • Refuses to conduct the before-and-after digital readiness diagnostics.
  • Does not have support from executive ownership or floor managers.
