Quality Technician 

Position Summary 

Industrial Inspection & Analysis, Inc is hiring a Quality Technician at our Advanced Technical Services location in Kent, WA. The Quality Technician plans and implements quality assurance program designed to ensure quality results consistent with established standards. In all actions, The Quality Technician supports ATS’s Quality Policy, Mission Statement, and other ATS policies and procedures by supporting our commitment to total customer satisfaction, quality services, continuous improvement, on-time delivery, safety, teamwork, individual accountability and respect for people.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the Quality Management System is maintained, improved, and followed in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540, and AS9100 standards.

  • Become familiar with ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540, AS9100, and ATS’ internal policies and requirements.

  • Review Certifications and issue corrected Certifications

  • Act as a customer liaison

  • Review Documents

  • Inspect incoming and outgoing deliveries

  • Complete work orders for incoming tools and equipment

  • Create packing slips for outgoing tools and equipment

  • Learn and use Access Recall System

  • Shipping and Filing

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Contact Management systems; Microsoft Access Database software; Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software

  • Planning, organizational, and communication skills

 

Working Conditions

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.

  • Occasionally required to sit, balance and stoop or kneel, crouch, or crawl.

  • Be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

  • Ability to work occasional overtime, including weekends as needed.
