Mike Hagen

Mike Hagen is a Board Member of the Center for Advanced Manufacturing Puget Sound (CAMPS).

Mike is the owner of Bay Island Group, Inc., where he helps organizations solve complex problems, improve profitability, expand capacity, and strengthen workplace culture. With more than 30 years of experience, he brings a broad leadership background spanning manufacturing, business, and nonprofit service, along with expertise in operations, systems, safety, financial performance, organizational development, human resources, training, media, travel, publishing, and technology.

Mike has served as CEO of a manufacturing company and led a variety of small businesses in corporate consulting, media production, writing, and international travel. He has published 10 books and previously worked in the semiconductor industry as an engineer and manufacturing operations manager.

He also serves on executive boards focused on community service, missions work, and apprenticeships. Mike is happily married, has two adult children, and loves exploring the great outdoors.
